No pre-registration just show up at 10:00a.m. behind the library on Division Street.Awards will be given for Best Walking Group, Best Riding Group, Best Individual Horse & Rider, and Best Car or Truck. RODEO BREAKFAST Everyone Is welcome to enjoy a hearty Rodeo Breakfast on Saturday June 10, before the parade. Sponsored; by the Elkettes. the breakfast includes sausage, bacon, ham, biscuits and gravy, eggs. potatoes and beverage. All you can eat! Under 12, $3.00; 12 and: over. $7.00. MYRTLE CREEK --Randy Thompson walked away with the all around saddle at the 23rd Annual South Douglas Rodeo held this last Saturday and Sunday at the Tri City Horsemen's Arena.
Other winners from the competition included:
Saturday Youth Events: Calf Riding, Doug Heinsch; Steer Riding, Jeremy Schwab; Sheep Riding, Zachary Collins; Goat Tying, Monty Wilson.
Sunday Youth Events: Calf Riding, James Simmons; Steer Riding, Cody Hoopes; Sheep Riding, Austin Wade; Goat Tying, Stephanie McGarvey.
.Adult Events: Bareback Riding, Jonathan Rickman; Saddle Bronc Rider, Frank McKay; Steer Wrestling, Shawn Brown; Team Roping, Brian Thompson and Bryan Millard; All-Around Saddle was won by Randy Thompson; Calf Roping, Ryan Callagher; Breakaway, Jennifer Storts; Bull Riding, Shane Ahrens; and Barrels, Bailey Chase.
Parade Results: Best individual rider, Riley-JoaIds; Best group, Umpqua Rhythm Riders; Best car, Nathan Hendricks; and Best tractor, Jim and Leighann Maddux.
